The story of RESERVA IBÉRICA begins with its founder, Manuel López, who, at just 14 years old, was already slicing hams surrounded by Iberian pigs at the small stall his parents ran in the Boquería Market.

MANUEL JOINS THE BUSINESS
At age 14, Manuel began working at the market stand

OLYMPIC GAMES IN BARCELONA
Barcelona is opening up to the world, and as a result, a new audience is beginning to discover our unique product at La Boqueria
1999
THE IBERIAN RESERVE IS ESTABLISHED
After completing his graduate studies in Los Angeles, Manuel began planning how to bring authentic acorn-fed ham to the whole world, and that is how RESERVA IBÉRICA was born
2005
INTRODUCTION TO HOTELS
RESERVA IBÉRICA is now a reality and is available at the best hotels in Barcelona.
2006
EXPANSION INTO NEW MARKETS
We entered the international market with our first shipments to Japan
